When psychiatrist Dr. Winter visits his daughter Alexandra, her roommate Maike suddenly disappears without a trace. Although her other roommate Felix is extremely concerned, Alexandra is not particularly worried. What the two are completely unaware of is that the so-called ‘concerts’ that Maike has allegedly been performing are actually organized by an escort service and involve playing of a completely different sort. In fact, Maike does not even study music as she claims. The ‘concerts’ often take place at the house of Senator Konrad. His guests include Julius, a district court judge and the jeweller Steven – all men of high society. After one such night, the senator finds Maike dead in his house. In a panic, he spirits the body away. Meanwhile, Uwe, Maike's brother, is released from prison. Dr. Winter, Alexandra and Felix are all shocked to see him suddenly standing in the doorway wanting to see his sister. Then, Dr. Winter makes a gruesome discovery: Maike’s half-hidden body. Who is responsible for her death? When the psychiatrist learns that the wife of the senator, Clara, was not at an island getaway on the night of the murder, but instead in a city hotel, she becomes a suspect.
